Speedbump was shot in the chest, hit by a car TWICE, and left to rot for FOUR DAYS on the side of the road in Texas. 

After emergency vet care and multiple flights and transports to Colorado, Speedbump underwent a series of tests, blood work,a medical CT scan, orthopedic vet visits, and a 10 hour complex surgery of a shattered pelvis and femur followed by two nights in the ER, Speedbump's medical expenses have totalled over $30,000 — and he's worth every cent!

He's shown incredible resiliency and is such a sweet pup, he's happy to share kisses with everyone he meets! He is healing well, but still has a long ways to go.After recovering from the surgery he'll need to undergo heart worm treatment and will potentially need additional surgeries and procedures.
